- Parent or guardian name, email, and phone submitted through enrollment and contact forms.
- Scholar name, grade, school, and academic information submitted during enrollment or intake.
- Payment information is handled by Stripe. Scholar Vanguard does not store card details.
- Email addresses submitted through newsletter signups.
Information collected automatically:
- Website usage data through Google Analytics.
- Cookies used by our platform and embedded third-party services.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process enrollment and confirm seats.
- To communicate about class schedules, updates, cancellations, and materials.
- To grant Scholar Portal access.
- To process payments.
- To evaluate academic placement.
- To improve programs and website using aggregated data.
- To comply with applicable law.
3. How We Share Your Information
Scholar Vanguard does not sell personal information. We share only with payment processors, website hosting, email marketing tools, and Google Workspace applications. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect individual safety.
4. Children’s Privacy
Scholar Vanguard serves students in grades 1 through 12, some of whom may be under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All enrollment forms and communications are directed to and completed by parents or guardians. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, contact us immediately.
5. Security
We use secure platforms. The Scholar Portal is password protected. Only Ms. Merriweather accesses family and scholar data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we use commercially reasonable practices but cannot guarantee absolute security.
